​We are thrilled to announce that the Jack Brooks Academy will be entering the Minor Counties Cricket Festival at the Royal Hospital School in Suffolk from Saturday August 2 to Wednesday August 6, and are looking for talented young cricketers to represent the Academy this summer.

The festival, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer, is a residential festival and players will stay on campus at RHS in a boarding house, supervised by JB Academy staff. Parents are welcome to support the boys during matches but they will need to arrange their own accommodation.

The cost per player for the full trip - with playing kit and meals included - is provisionally £550 per person. We hope to be able to offer a degree of financial support to those in need to ensure that players are not excluded from the opportunity of touring for financial reasons. The JB Academy team will play five matches of different lengths and formats, from T20 cricket through to 80-over declaration (win/lose/draw) games against a mixture of county sides and academy teams.
